You can work on design, project ideas, presentations, or learn from your teammates. The goal is to learn and build something together!
How do teams work at IndyHAX?
Teams typically have 2-5 members with diverse skills. You can form teams before the event or find teammates on the day of. Good teams include a mix of roles: coders, designers, idea generators, and presenters. Collaboration and communication are just as important as technical skills!
What should I bring to IndyHAX?
Bring your laptop (fully charged!), chargers, any necessary cables, and a positive attitude. Most importantly, bring your creativity and willingness to learn. Don't worry about having everything figured out in advance!
What if I've never been to a hackathon before?
First-timers are always welcome! IndyHAX is designed to be a beginner-friendly learning experience. Mentors and organizers will be there to help you. How long does IndyHAX last?

Absolutely! AI is not only allowed but encouraged at IndyHAX. You can use AI tools, APIs, and technologies like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Azure AI, or any other AI resources to enhance your project. However, AI is completely optional - you can build amazing projects without it too!
